What is a Foyer?
A home and a new start
A foyer is a place where young people can live and receive support to enable them to achieve their goals and move on to independent living.
We offer the following support to our residents:
- affordable accommodation for up to two years
- training and support services
- one-to-one mentoring
- job search facilities
- sports, arts and social activities
- help for residents to return to their families or find a place to live
All residents are expected to commit to a personalised programme of training and support, to improve both life skills and to either get back into education or find a job. The aim is to help young people get their life on track and become independent.

“I know what I need to do to get where I need to be and being at the Foyer has introduced me to a lot. It’s made me realise I can do anything I put my mind to.”
